Geneviève Berger
Geneviève Berger is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and has a PhD in human biology. In 1991 she founded, and ran until 2000, the mixed laboratory for parametric imaging at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and Broussais Hôtel-Dieu hospital. She was Director General of the CNRS from 2000 to 2003. She worked as a university professor and hospital doctor at La Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital from 2003 to 2008 before joining Unilever, first as a director and then as an executive member in charge of research and development from 2008 to 2014. Ms. Geneviève Berger was Chief Research Officer for the Swiss company Firmenich from 2015 to 2021.
